We wouldn't miss Puhinui for the world and, although our video cameras can't be there this year, we'll be bringing you everything else, every day from Thursday
The last CCI4* we covered in full in New Zealand was the NZ Horse of the Year (HOY) at Hastings in March, just before the world took on a very different complexion due to Covid-19!
A lot has happened since then, but we’re delighted to be bringing you full daily coverage of Puhinui International 3 Day Event from Auckland, New Zealand. This is of course the home of Libby Law, who will be bringing a flurry of the best photos every day from Thursday to Sunday plus our famous photo gallery and we’ll be matching that with all the latest news, rider feedback and Who Won What (and how …)
It all starts with the Who Wore What at the first horse inspection on Thursday then the dressage takes place on Friday, cross country on Saturday and show jumping on Sunday
As well as the long format CCI4*-L, CCI3*-L and CCI2*-L classes, there is a CCN1*-S and CCN-95 taking place plus the New Zealand Young Event Horse class
There are 16 entries in the CCI4*-L including last year’s 4* winner, Clarke Johnstone riding Aces High and last year’s CCI3*-L winner, Monica Oakley riding Artist. The in-form Madison Crowe riding Waitingi Pinterest is also competing, as are the HOY 4* winners Bundy Philpott and Tresca NZPH and Amanda ‘Muzi’ Pottinger with two horses, Just Kidding and The Comedian
Our feature articles and photo galleries will be in our 5* Member content - not a member yet? Don't miss out on all the fun - why not join with our $1 Trial Membership offer
We'll be bringing you daily updates, photos and videos both on the website and through our social media channels so stay tuned to our Facebook, Instagram and Twitter for video snippets and more …..
Can Clarke and Aces High do it again in 2020? Check back each day to see - and it all kicks off tomorrow at one of the coolest first horse inspections in the world of eventing
