Andrew Hoy's Christmas campaign

Christmas is a time when you may consider donating to a charity and Australian Olympic eventing Andrew Hoy rider has a suggestion for you – why not support Right To Play?

Andrew became an “International Right To Play Athlete Ambassador” last year and is, together with his fellow “4-legged Ambassador” Right To Play´s Jack Sparrow, trying to raise awareness for Right To Play´s programmes and helps to generate funds whenever possible.  In November Right To Play´s UK dependence generated £550,000 at their annual charity ball, The BIG RED Ball,  to which Andrew donated a training session which sold for an amazing £10,000

What am I bid for a lesson with this man?

Along with his fellow Right To Play Athlete Ambassadors from around the world, Andrew is now hoping to raise £1,000 to fund the education of 20 children in one of Right To Play’s programmes for a whole year.

“I have been an Athlete Ambassador for Right To Play for almost one year in which time this charity has grown very close to my heart” says Andrew

“Not only is Barbara Keller’s 7-year old Irish Sport Horse Right To Play’s Jack Sparrow joining me in my role as Ambassador – together we have had many special moments for and with Right To Play – but I believe through play and education we can make significant changes to the lives of millions of disadvantaged children around the world”

“Sport has taken me around the world, has taught me values and given me lifetime opportunities – this is why I as an Athlete believe in the power of sport and play!”
