Katja Weimann joins the Generation Next Squad
Equestrian Australia has updated its Eventing Squad List as at 6th January 2016 with three new names added to the Generation Next category
Kevin McNab, Ryan Wood and Katja Weimann are three new names in the Generation Next category
Kevin, originally from Queensland, is now based near Guildford in the UK, with his fiancée Emma Dougall who is also listed on the Next Generation squad.
US based Ryan Wood had strong performances in 2015 with several horses across the levels on the American eventing circuit and Australian based Katja Weimann also had a strong year, winning the CIC3* at Albury, second in the CCI3* at Melbourne and sixth in the CCI4* at the Australian International 3 Day Event on her aptly named homebred horse BP Flamboyant
There are no changes to the Gold and Green categories of the Eventing High Performance Squads (see an explanation of the categories introduced in 2015 here)
