Riders
Katie Stephens-Grandy takes the title of the rider league on 103 Foundation Points, won at BE90 and BE100 level (excluding Open sections). Katie’s busy season saw her take first place in a BE90 and BE100 section this year along with a further eight point-winning placings in the top five.
“It takes belief in your horse and your training" Katie told us in our feature interview in July when we asked her what it takes to become the best in grassroots eventing “Don’t over face them but build their confidence and your confidence progressively through the levels.
“I go to an event to enjoy it, if you don’t enjoy it you shouldn’t do it. I try not to get hooked on the things that go wrong and stay on the positives. That hopefully leads to success”
