Ros Canter and Silvesters Finesse
An Eventful Life is filming all competitors on cross country at
Childeric Saddles Little Downham (1) 2022 - order or view videos here
Ros Canter not only showed she had a classy new horse in Destiny, winning the Intermediate Section B on Friday but she backed this up with both first and second places on Saturday in the 5-Year-Old Section at Little Downham (1)
Ros took the win on board Silvesters Finesse (27.5), at just their second start together after winning their first competition at Bishop Burton (1) while Accelerando, by Ramiro B who has already had wins at BE100 level, took second place (29.0), so Ros certainly has some very good youngsters in the stable
Lizzie Baugh also had a good day at the office, taking third place in the 5YO class on board Calida Spice as well as winning two of the Novice classes (see results below)
Australia’s Bella English had two of her youngsters in this class with Cil Dara Bombay and Elysian Fields Prado finishing 22nd and 19th and her Mondial Du Lion Young Horse star Cil Dara Dallas, who we recently visited at home with Bella, having a steady run around the Intermediate. Bella also took fourth place in the BE100 Section N riding Acapulco
There is another familiar Antipodean horse name in the Results with Jesse Campbell’s Amsterdam 21 now proving to be a star for young Charlotte Bull, winning the Open Novice U18 Section K
UPDATE: Sadly the final day of competition on Sunday has been cancelled due to weather conditions
