Thanks to Gracie Tyte, one of the British Eventing Ambassadors and well-known as Pony Nuts on YouTube and social media, who has given us a ‘talk-through’ of her cross country video ride at Burnham Market International 2019
Gracie rode Liskillen Prince, a 14.2hh, 10-year-old grey Connemara gelding, in the BE100
“He really is the most honest, genuine, and kindest pony I have ever met, and probably ever will meet. He has the best personality and not only this, but he is super talented as well!” says Gracie
“In the time I’ve had him he has taken me from just about doing 80cm ODE’s to going double clear and placing in BE100’s and even completing a BE105 at the end of the 2018 season, on top of many other things”
“There are lots of sports in the world, but only in ours can you say that all in a weekend’s work we navigated a half tonne animal with a mind of its own through a five minute dressage test, around a course of balanced painted poles, and over 24 solid cross country jumps!”
Gracie fills us in on her thoughts as they make their way around the course, giving her (and you) a great chance to review the ride and, of course, Prince’s ‘adorable little face’
The Barefoot Retreats Burnham Market International will this year take place in Norfolk from 9th – 12th April and once again we’ll be filming all competitors on cross country. See you there and smile at the camera!
