Nina De Haas on Ballylaffin Juno at Osberton International Horse Trials (2) 2024
It was a tight finish leading into the final day of the CCI3*-L at Osberton International Horse Trials (2) 2024 with nothing in hand between the top three, but it was Nina De Haas, riding for the Netherlands but based in the UK, riding Ballylaffin Juno that triumphed.
Laura Collett won back to back team gold medals at Tokyo 2020 and Paris 2024, adding an individual bronze medal at Versailles, achieving her long-held dream.

The Steelworks Construction Queensland International 3 Day Event at Tamborine on 27th - 29th September 2024 hosted FEI long format competitions at CCI1* - 4* levels plus short format CCI3*-S and 4*-S and national classes from 65cm to 95cm.
We were on site throughout the event, filming all competitors on cross country, and caught up with the class leaders each day and the winners Shane Rose, Andrew Cooper, Georgia Rohde, Niki Rose and Lamoza Velisha at the end of the competition.
Holly Richardson on Rock N Roll Star at Alnwick Ford Horse Trials (2) 2024
Eight combinations came forward for the sole Open Novice Section E, which was won in convincing style by Holly Richardson aboard Mrs Laura De Wesselow’s Rock N Roll Star.
Having only had Rock N Roll Star in her stables for three weeks, and two of those taken up with Burghley and Blenheim, Holly admits, “I used Alnwick as a ‘get to know him’ event, to focus on getting the feel of him in each of the individual phases, so it was quite nice to come out with a good result as well.” Read our full report here
