Megan and Jester at the emotional farewell in Adelaide
Megan Jones needs no introduction to eventing fans in Australia, being one of the most popular riders on the circuit. Wherever Megan goes, there is usually a troop of adoring fans following! At this year’s Australian International 3 Day Event in Adelaide, Megan retired her legendary grey horse Kirby Park Irish Jester, her partner in winning a team bronze medal at the World Equestrian Games in Aachen in 2006 and a team silver medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games in Hong Kong. Luckily Megan has another 4* horse in Kirby Park Allofasudden (Floyd) and some very promising up and coming equine stars but she is aware of a need to hang on to these good horses, many of which were bred at her home Kirby Park Stud, to stay at the top of her sport.

Megan and James have put together a Syndicate Programme for their horses and are offering eventing fans a chance to be involved with the Megan Jones Eventing Team by sharing in a syndicate for one or more of their eventing horses. We talked to Megan (accompanied by Kandy, one of the young mares offered who is, as you will see, just gorgeous) about the syndicate which will offer, as well as young competition horses and horses for sale, a chance to own a share in Megan’s top horse Kirby Park Allofasudden.
For further details about the syndicate options and horses available, contact Megan or James through their website at www.kirbypark.com
