A soggy start at the first horse inspection for Lissa and Malin Head Clover but a very good finish
“It’s just been amazing, I couldn’t have asked for more fun or a more perfect setting” said Lissa Green on completing her first ever three day CCI3* event on Malin Head Clover at the Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials
Lissa and her 13 year old bay gelding were in equal 80th place after the dressage with a score of 61.90 but it was onwards and upwards from there, picking up just 18.4 time penalties on the cross country and jumping a lovely clear round to complete the event in 48th place, much to the excitement of not only Lissa but also her famous mum Lucinda and the owners of Malin Head Clover. The very happy group were celebrating after Lissa’s show jumping round with lots of pats and kisses for Malin Head Clover when we caught up with them for a quick chat
