Hannah and Sid over the last and very happy but .......
An Eventful Life is filming all competitors on cross country at
Chilham Castle (2) - find out more here
British Eventing recently announced the names of 12 BE Ambassadors who ‘will be bringing us all the behind the scenes updates of their BE experiences, from training and competing to spectating and volunteering, and helping to spread the word on all the incredible opportunities and aspects of the sport’. As a partner of British Eventing, we'll be sharing some of their experiences through our cross country videos and finding out a bit more of the story behind their rides
At Chilham Castle (2) Horse Trials we stalked one of these Ambassadors, Hannah Craft, a 27-year-old lawyer by profession who is also known as ‘the less important half of Sid Goes Eventing’.
Hannah’s horse Sir Duke II (aka Sid) is ‘17hh of pure awesomeness and has been the yard favourite on every yard I have ever been at’ and together they were competing in the BE90 Open at Chilham Castle (2) on Saturday
It was one of those days when things just didn’t go to plan, but Hannah and Sid shared their story with us in little snippets after each phase on our social media channels and then a wrap-up interview at the end (in the rain!)
We’ll let Hannah tell you about their day and hopefully the XC Video of their ride at Chilham (1), which will be coming up soon, will bring back better memories!
