Vittoria Panizzon and Super Cillious
Italy has named its eventing combinations for Tokyo 2020 as:
- Susanna Bordone on Imperial Van De Holtakkers (Carabinieri Sports Center)
- Stefano Brecciaroli on Bolivar Gio Granno (Carabinieri Sports Center)
- Vittoria Panizzon on Super Cillious (Aeronautica Militare Sports Center)
- Arianna Schivo on Quefira de L’Ormeau (Carabinieri Sports Center)
- Reserve: Pietro Majolino on Vita Louise Dh Z (Podere Torre Asd)
The team members will be accompanied by Katherine Lucheschi, Giacomo Della Chiesa and the team veterinarian, Dr. Marco Eleuteri.
The horses and riders will undergo a period of quarantine in Aachen, Germany from 11 to 18 July and then fly to Tokyo on July 19th. The non-travelling reserves Pietro Majolino and Vita Louise Dh Z will take part in the quarantine period as a precaution and only four combinations will leave for Japan.
The Italian Federation of Equestrian Sports will announce the names of the final team members by July 5th
