We caught up with some of the riders at the 2023 Les Etoiles de Pau CCI5* after they have completed dressage to find out their thoughts on their tests, their horses and the coming cross country course.
And we heard some great, and some emotional stories from riders such as Tom McEwen (dressage leader), Ros Canter, Jesse Campbell, Tim Price, Piggy March, Jonelle Price and Nadja Minder.

Jillian, who bought Newmarket Melody from the Scarteen Stud in Ireland as a two-year-old, moved from Holland to be work for Andrew Downes at the end of last year and so began eventing Newmarket Melody this year.
