Toots Bartlett on Cor Y Taran at Swalcliffe Park Horse Trials 2023
Toots Bartlett headed up the sole Intermediate Novice section (Section G) on her Bicton CCI-S 3* bound, Cor y Taran at Swalcliffe Park Horse Trials in October 2023.
The seven-year-old gelding has had an intermittent summer with more entries withdrawn than contested but clearly the work at home has paid off with the partnership securing this section, adding just one show jumping time penalty to their 30.9 penalty dressage score.

Shane Rose’s clear showjumping round late on Saturday afternoon at Willinga Park helped move him up the leaderboard to be within striking distance of the dressage leaders, Shenae Lowings and Andrew Barnett. Then on Sunday he sealed the deal, riding Easy Turn to produce the fastest time on cross country course to take the win in the 4CYTE CCI4* eventing class.

Emily King and Jackpot, CCI3*-L winners at Osberton International Horse Trials 2023
Emily King led from start to finish to win the CCI3*-L at Osberton International Horse Trials 2023. Riding Vicki and Stewart Irlam’s gelding Jackpot, she added nothing on cross-country and in the showjumping phase to finish on their dressage score of 25, earning the pair victory in this hotly contested class.
