Italy’s Roberto Scalisi, a first timer at Defender Blair Castle International Horse Trials 2023, took the lead in the CCI4*-L on Thursday 24th August with the only sub-30 score, finishing on top with 29.1. Roberto’s horse, the 13-year-old Alamein is a full thoroughbred who raced 25 times and was bought for just £700

Piggy March on Brookfield Inocent at Hartpury International Horse Trials 2023

Piggy March and Brookfield Inocent won the CCI4*-S eventing class at the 2023 Hartpury International Horse Trials and now head to Burghley Horse Trials at the end of August.

The defending champion, Piggy won Burghley 2022 on Vanir Kamira after they too won the CCI4*-S at Hartpury as part of their preparation for the big CCI5* event. Can she replicate the two wins again in 2023?
